Why we get tattoos? Quite useless question.
I guess it's like to presume to be finally able find out what was first between the chicken and the egg.
When it's not all about just an aesthetic reason why, I think there's only a possible, true, answer.
We get tattoos because we see in them just another way to trying to temporarily and illusionally fill up the hole we carry inside our souls.
