"They start with votes as soon as you're born: if you come out with all the right pieces, if you cry strong enough and you're above 4 Kg you can even take a 10; otherwise, they go down. If you're precocious, if you're one of those who start walk and say "mum" before 10 months ago...they can even give you a 9-9 1/2; otherwise, they go down again. Useless to say that as you grow up and start to go to nursery...well, here gets tough and votes just start to increase. At school, obviously, you must face the escalation, the compilation, the festival of votes! But maybe, the worst is yet to come, because then there are girls you date who give you votes for the car you have, the house you live in, the work you do.
We are here to take and give votes; there's nothing wrong about it...if there's nothing wrong about stop doing what you want for only doing what makes you get good votes.
From zero to ten I've got a present from 6...-...-. (...) My remote past is from 8 1/2; the more recent from 6. (...) I've got an I.D. which sometimes I consult: lucky you if you always know who the hell you are.
(...) I've got a future from 9. Or 4. It depends on how I wake up."
"DaZeroADieci (From zero to ten)"
That's right, that's true. We are here to be judged, because even if we don't do it to others, there will always be someone who does it with us. We get votes, we must always say "I'm sorry" or "I apologize" for what we are, for what we do, for what we think, say, feel; we must tell ourselves to others, we owe everyone explanations and reasons why, we can't be ourselves without pay at least a consequence of our behavior. Maybe we're just born to say "I'm sorry", to feel guilty, asking for forgiveness all life long; or, maybe, U2 were right about it and about blame, disappointment, the game of playing Jesus and heal others because we're too afraid, because we're just cowards when it comes to think about us and judge our souls. It's so easy to destroy others in front of us because we see our weaknesses in them, while it scares the hell out of us to admit that we are at fault and none else. It's a lesson to learn: we must look at ourselves in the mirror, not to other people. Even if it's hard: we are big girls, we are big boys, we must know how to survive even with the worst enemies of ourselves. Us.
